The Board of Pharmacy is pleased to announce it has awarded St Luke’s Hospital, Duluth, MN, a grant to assist in the implementation of an integrated solution to allow for access to the MN PMP data via their electronic medical record system.  This funding is being provided through the Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program grant (2016-PM-BX-0006) which was awarded to the Board of Pharmacy.

This is the second project of its kind in the State of MN and we look forward to working with our partners at St. Luke’s.

Integration of Access to the MN Prescription Monitoring Program Data into the Clinical Workflow via the Electronic Medical Record or Pharmacy Operations Software

The Minnesota Board of Pharmacy through its Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) is providing grant funding for qualified health care entities, MN licensed pharmacies, and State Certified Health Information Exchange- Health Information Organizations (HIE-HIO) to integrate access to the MN PMP data into the electronic medical record (EMR) or pharmacy operations software systems.

Eligible applicants must be qualified MN health care entities, MN licensed pharmacies, and HIE-HIOs. Total amount of funding available is $200,000.
